I first bought this game when I got my Nintendo Switch, because it was, at the time, one of the games everyone recommended for the Switch. I didn’t appreciate turn-based RPGs at the time, so I found it boring and repetitive and quickly bounced off of it.
Now, all these years later, I love it. The combat is fun and the music is fantastic and the whole game is just beautiful to look at. The story isn’t all that special, but it isn’t bad, and I like seeing how things begin to fit together as I learn more about the world.
